Component of coastal communities received less attention in the media is a woman fishing . Issues of woman’s role has not been touched fisherman our attention in a variety of development and empowerment programs in coastal areas . The purpose of this study to analyze: (1) The role of women fisher in influencing the presence of shrimp seed producers (hatchery) scale household and consumer (tiger shrimp farmers) in Situbondo . (2) The inpact of abnormal market behavior of the tiger prawn seed marketing chain business continuity associated with tiger shrimp in Situbondo . (3) The Impact of the performance of the market is not healthy to fluctuations in the price of tiger prawn seed in Situbondo . This research was conducted in the coastal region (District of Kendit, Situbondo). Samples will be taken by way of propotional random sampling, a total of 90 respondents. Kinds of data collected includes primary and secondary data. Analysis techniques include : quantitative analysis (cross tabulation and multiple linear regression) and qualitative analysis. The result showed that : (1)The role of women in influencing the existence of fisherman household scale shrimp producers and consumers in Situbondo in the high category . (2) The impact of market behavior that is not normal to the shrimp marketing chain sustainability efforts related to shrimp in Situbondo relating to the pricing indicates that the shrimp can determine commodity prices are beyond local merchants. Results of market integration analysis showed low market integration and the weak bargaining position of producers , giving an indication that the behavior of traders , particularly local merchants and traders became the supplier remains outside the region do not reflect the behavior that gives an overview of business mutually beneficial to all parties. (3) the impact of shrimp market variability reflects differences in provit on each institution thereby of the market variability analysis indicated that the shrimp market in Situbondo inefficient. Each marketing agency also does not reflect the range of activities tha are mutually beneficial, but tend to only be enjoyed by local merchants and traders outside the region. When viewed from the margin analysis of to channels are the most profitable channel for manufacturers because the two channels is the selling price and the share farmer is quite high.
