Hasil observasi yang menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik kelas 8a MTs AL – Hidayah masih rendah, di karenakan pada proses pembelajaran masih berpusat pada pendidik sehingga menjadikan peserta didik kurang bersemangat, adapun metode yang di gunakan oleh pendidik hanya sebatas ceramah, tanya jawab tanpa adanya kesempatan dari peserta didik untuk berkreatif, inovatif, yang mengakibatkan munculnya kebosanan, kejenuhan, yang pada akhirnya belajar kurang bersemangat, ada yang tidur, bicara sendiri – sendiri, beraktifitas selain pelajran fiqh karena keadaan seperti inilah peneliti berinisiatif menerapkan metode pembelajaran problem solving.


Untuk masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana implementasi model problem solving dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran fiqh di MTs AL- Hidayah.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan model problem solving dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di MTs al – Hidayah mangli. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 8a yang jumlahnya 21 orang. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan 4 tahapan, yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan (3) refleksi dan pengamatan. Menggunakan tehnik dalam pengumpulan data, yaitu observasi.

Hasil penelitian terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari tahap siklus I, dimana siklus I dengan keterangan 17 peserta didik yang tuntas (81% ) yang sebelumnya pada observasi pra siklus dengan keterangan 8 peserta didik yang tuntas 62 %. Dan pada siklus II mengalami kenaikan nilai yang cukup siknifikan yaitu peserta didik mecapai nilai 100. Di mana sebelumnya nilai tertinggi hanya memperoleh 78.(pra siklus) dan saat siklus I ada peningkatan dengan nilai tertinggi 80 , hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode problem solving mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dan saat siklus II untuk jumlah yang tidak tuntas tetap 19% tetapi nilainya mengalami nilai yang cukup memuaskan .

Dengan demikian dapat di simpulkan bahwa penggunaan model problem solving dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik sangat memiliki pengaruh yang kuat. Maka dari itu di sarankan kepada sekolah, dan pendidik hendaklah lebih kreatif, inovatif dalam memilih strategi dan model pembelajaran untuk lebih dapat menghasilkan hasil belajar yang maksimal.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

Observations show that the learning outcomes of students grade 8a junior high school Al Hidayah still low, due to the learning process is still centered on educators to make students less eager, while the methods used by educators only a lecture, question and answer without any chance of learners to create on, innovative, which resulted in the emergence of boredom, burnout, which eventually learn lackluster, sleep sleeping, talking on their own, in addition to learning fiqh activity due to circumstances such as these researchers took the initiative to apply the learning methods of problem solving.

For the formulation of the problem in this research is how implementation model of problem solving can improve learning outcomes of students in the subjects on fiqh in junior high school Al Hidayah Mangli Jember.

This study aims to determine the use of the model of problem solving in improving the learning outcomes of students in junior high school Al Hidayah Mangli Jember. The subjects of this study are learners 8a class numbering 21 children. The design of this study using classroom action research with four stages, namely: 1. The planning, 2. observation, 3. Reflection and Supervision. A technique used in the data collection is observations.

Result of research on the study of students showed an increase from the first cycle phase, in which the first cycle with a description of 17 learners who complete (81%) were previously on pre-cycle observations with a description 8 learners who complete 62%. And on the second cycle increased significantly value that learners reach a value of 100. Where previously only obtained the highest score 78 (pre-cycle) and when the first cycle no increase with the highest score of 80, indicating that the method of problem solving can improve result learners and when the second cycle for the number of incomplete remains 19%, but its value has increased the value which is quite satisfactory.

It can be concluded that the use of the model of problem solving can improve student learning outcomes so has a strong influence. Therefore it is advisable to let educators be more creative, innovative in choosing strategies and learning models to be able to produce a maximum learning results.
