This research aims (1) to know the wide range of the best in the azolla fertilizers enhance plant growth and biomass of rice. (2) to find out the time interval of fertilizer application of azolla best in boosting growth and biomass plants rice. (3) to find out the interaction between fertilizer application time treatment of azolla and the granting of different kinds of fertilizer on increasing the growth of azolla and rice plant biomass. This research was carried out at the experimental farm Faculty of Agriculture University of Muhammadiyah Jember from March until April 2017 2017 with height 89 metres above sea level. The research was conducted in factorial (3 x 3) with archetypal Random Design Group (RAK), which is comprised of two factors, namely the first factor is the wide variety of fertilizers and the second factor azolla i.e. fertilizing time interval which is repeated as many as three times. The first factor is divided into 5 levels i.e. M1 = Azolla Fresh Fertilizer 8 tons/ha (1600g/plot), M2 = Compost Azolla 6 tons/ha (1200g/plot), M3 = Liquid Fertilizer Azolla 120 ml/l. second Factors are divided into 3 levels i.e. W1 = 7 days before planting, W2 = 0 days when cropping, W3 = 7 days after planting. The results showed that treatment of the grant range of azolla fertilizer gives a real influence against the weight of the wet and dry weight stover and gives no real influence against plant age (14, 28, and 42) hst, number of plantlets and number of saplings of productive. On the treatment interval of time allotment of azolla fertilizers provide different real influence against the weight of the wet stover dry weight, stover, number of plantlets, the number of saplings of productive and gives no real influence against plant age (14, 28, and 42) hst. While the interaction between these two treatments did not provide a different real influence on the entire variable observation. Various kinds of fertilizer azolla, azolla compost 6 tons/ha (M3) provides the best results in improving growth and biomass plants rice. Application time 7 days after planting (W3) gives the best results on variable observations both growth and biomass plants rice.
