Abstrak


A field experiment on the effect of casting application on the production of Edamame-soybean was conducted at Medium Soil Textural. The objective of the study was to determine efficiency of anorganic fertilizer application under utilization of casting. The Split plot with three replications was used as experimental design. The main plot (casting application level) consisted of 1 ton/ha, 2 ton/ha, and 3 ton/ha, and the sub plot (anorganic fertilizer) consisted of null anorganic fertilizer, a half fertilizer anorganic dosage of recommendation level, and full anorganic recommendation level.



Result of experiment showed that (1) casting application increased Soil Cation Echange Capacity(CEC) and decrease Soil Bulk Density; (2) anorganic Fertilizer C3P1 application level showed that growth hight plant as well; (3) anorganic Fertilizer C3P1 application level showed that best production of Edamame pod, i.e. Raw Material (RM) pods of 76,90 g/plant, Export Quality Material (EQM) pods of 47,87 g/plant, and Standart Quality (SQ),pods of 33,15 g/plant as well. (4) 3 ton/ha casting application increased efficiency used of organic-fertilizer up to 50%,
